If the powder skirt is taken off jacket and the bibs are taken off the bombshell pants, can they make a one piece?

It would be awkward. The zipper on the pants is recessed about 1.5" below the waistline and the zipper on the jacket doesn't extend much from the coat. Is it physically possible? Yes, I believe it is. Should you? Probably not. The combination of the bibs and skirt keep snow out unless you have a really dickish buddy who likes to turn you over and dump shovels full of snow down your coat. If you have that problem, you need a different friend, not a different jacket/bib combo.
