Would it be a good idea to mount Dukes on these for skinning? And should I go for some AT boots or is it not a big deal having Dukes+Alpine boots

I skinned a pair of ARG's (which are completely rockered) all last year and had no problems losing traction. Make sure you have wall to wall coverage as always. You don't really need AT boots unless you're doing day trips in the backcountry. For slackcountry and just access hikes from the lifts you're fine with downhillboots.
