Alright, comparing this now to the Arcteryx Atom SV hoody.
Looks like the Atom SV is slightly heavier than the micropuff, different insulation with the Coreloft vs. the Primaloft. How is Coreloft compared to Primaloft?
So, what do you all think? Looks like the Atom may be built a bit better, ie, less stiching, etc. Tell me what you think between the two jackets. Thanks!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I had read somewhere that Coreloft almost as good as Primaloft One. The material on the Atom SV is more durable and has fleece lined pockets.

I gotta say, this is a seriously tough call, which means to me that you can't go wrong. Both are quality companies and both coats do basically the same thing -- super warm midlayers or decent standalone jackets in cold/dry conditions. When you have this level of equivalence, I usually go with whichever is on sale/cheaper. One thing that stands out on the Arcteryx Atom's, however, are the cuffs. They are just so damn comfortable. They feel like butter.
