I'm really leaning towards this ski, but wanted to get some input from you guys.

My bread and butter is the moguls, but I also ski a lot of steeps. My cheap and light Atomics are great in the bumps, but weren't cutting it on the steeps, so I'm looking for something better in that area.

My questions are:

-I know these aren't going to be a dedicated mogul ski, but will they do ok at least?

-When they say light, how heavy are we talking?

-Also, the 4 dimensions are throwing me off, what are the Tip/Waist/Tail dimensions on the 174?

Thanks in advance.

Grant

These are probably the best skis I have ever owned, but they are not that sweet in bumps. tips are too fat, and they just generally seem to say "I'm better than this".

Grant, I haven't skied these through the moguls yet, but my guess is you could hammer these things through the bumps. They have a rockered nose, but traditional camber all the way back to the tail and a stiff flex profile, which I think would be nice through the bumps. These things were designed for the steeps though, really. They are very stable even considering the rockered nose which will be a dream in powder snow. The widest part of the ski is about half way between the front of the binding and the tip of the ski. Its 131mm, but the actual tip is about 118mm wide. The narrowest part of the ski, near the waist is 101mm. The tail is about 122mm. Im not sure exactly how much they weigh, but you fan feel instantly that its a light ski for its size.
