So, with a plastic lid what is it's purpose if it's just going to melt when it comes in contact with some heat?? This seems like a pretty serious oversight in the design, no? Is it suggested to not cover your food when trying to heat it up? Overall the set looks/sounds fantastic, but that plastic lid might just be a deal breaker for me... :(

It melted when I used it. I then tried to contact GSI multiple times from their website regarding a replacement lid and did not receive a return email. Not too stoked on GSI as a brand because of that. Other than the lame lid, the rest of the kit is flawless.
