Skibum The Quantum is more traditional Hard Shell Jacket. The material is tough, 20k/20k and does not stretch. It has a waterproof pocket, removable powder skirt and free ride fit. The Higgins is a more modern 3 Layer Soft shell (10k/10k), with less features on the inside it is simple and streamlined with me stretch and a bit more warm. Both will treat you right.
