I'm trying to decide between the Patagonia Micro Puff and the Nano hooded jacket...living in the Pacific NW and looking to wear the jacket under my rain coat around town and walking to work, as well as under my ski jacket...what do people recommend?

Marisa, for as much as you want to layer the jacket underneath I would say the Nano Puff might be the best bet for you. It's got 60 grams of Primaloft insulation, vs 100 in the Micro Puff, so it will still be nice and warm, but not quite as bukly under your rain coat or shell.
