I just bought the splice goggles at the Boston Ski Expo. The retail price on the box was $230. I bought them at the "expo discount price " of $175. Should I seek medical attention too get the hook out of my mouth?

They're probably polarized bro, it'll be etched in on the right side of the lens "Polarized." And If they are Polarized get rid of the lens sell it or throw it away and get non polarized. *Incase you or anyone doesn't know* So we all know what Polarization does, and the ONLY thing it does is eliminate "white glare." Also Polarization will always make the lens a little darker for the user. However, little do people know: Everyone wants the best. Yes Polarized lens's are sweet...Except when your riding down a hill and don't see a patch of "white glare" in front of you. So you black out and wake up in a hospital. Turns out that "white glare" that you eliminated, eliminated all chances of seeing a slick ice patch in front of you. Which is literally what polarization is supposed to do, but its not a good idea on the mountain unless you're riding pure back country powder with no groomers or compressed snow (compression forms ice). Just a heads up. I ride in the rockies so its not as big of a problem but on the East coast...F that. Also, if you too ride in the west on large busy mountains, you know that clipping someone or falling up there is more than just getting back up. People are benched for the season, get passes clipped, are scared out of riding, or even death.

Well you got a good deal if they were polarized. If not then you got a bad deal.
