Does Norrona have super weird sizing like most euro clothing?

I have a 32in waist and fit medium should i size up

I cannot speak to this item specifically, but we have a Norrona shell and pants in this house, both Gore Tex, and they run true to size - if anything the pants are slightly big. I'd go with your North Face, Arcteryx size - that is what we have done. This has not been like the Italian bike wear, where you need an XXL if you are a L!!Good luck.
