What I've found interesting about North Face jackets is that they only vary in width between sizes. So even though I am 5"10 and 145 lbs and typically wear mediums and larges, I am of a narrower frame and wear smalls for North Face. Seriously, the arm length and top to bottom lengths are exactly the same. So if your wider, you might want to go for the M or L.

You can check out the sizing chart just below the price to compare your measurements. I have found it to be pretty accurate. Also to consider is how much you will layer with the jacket.
