I'm 5'7", 145 lbs. Small sizes usually work best for me, but the Drystein small was too tight in the shoulders and chest, especially with layers underneath. I exchanged it for the medium, which is a perfect fit: layerable but not baggy and adequate shoulder room. The medium is also a little longer in the torso, which will be advantageous for sitting beneath my climbing harness. You should go with the medium, or possibly a large.

unk. We are about the same size... and I wear a medium. The DryStein has an athletic fit for sure but I have been able to layer under the jacket for climbing and skiing without a problem. I hope this info helps!
