do these pants have an adjustable waist or perhaps a waist cord? i have a very tall skinny toddler and she cant the size she needs in length with just an elastic waist

Waist is not adjustable. Just elasticized. My son is the same, very skinny but slightly taller than average height for his age. In desperation, I do sew to take the sides of his pants in - ie put a stitch in at either side to "take it in", therefore making the waist smaller.
