I'd say the two big differences between this and the Blue Ridge are the side vents and the price. The Aspire has on long zipper from the hem to the middle of your upper arm. That way, if you need to vent, you can OR if you wanted to buckle your hipbelt of your backpack, you don't have to do it over all of your jacket, blocking access to your front pockets. As for the price, you get that great additional feature, no change in quality, AND you're saving money because the Aspire is less expensive.
