Hi, I am searching for a good gore tex shell. My present shell is a 6 year old EMS guide jacket in gore tex xcr. The issue is I am 6-5 with long arms. the xxl in the ems fits perfect. I have been looking into arcteryx (sabre-crossbow). XL just barely fits in the sabre so i figure xxl would fit. Not quite sold on the colors though. At 6-5 would the xxl in the triolet work for me. Thanks

Patagonia jackets have long arms typically, and this one is no exception. I just bought an XL, and it fits me well (5'9"/wide shoulders/I wear baggy clothes) except for the arms. Since you are 6'5" I would think that either an XL or XXL would work well for you, depending on how wide you are. But this thing was made for people with long arms.
