I am looking for a rain hat or winter hat with a brim not too large. Here is the thing, I need it adjustable to fit my head. My head must be smaller than normal and most hats are too large and fall down to my ears when they should sit above them. I have a scala adjustable hat I adore but it is summer material. any thoughts about this bucket hat. most buckets slip to low on my head.

Hi V, I would recommend checking out the Outdoor Research Seattle Sombrero - it comes in multiple sizes, is Gore-Tex and has an internal micro adjustment feature.
