My son is 14 but he is 5 feet and weights 130 lbs. Sincd he is short i dont know what size he needs.

Denalis tend to have a long sleeves and shorter "body". If your son needs to have a jacket which will kinda "roomy" go choose XL (sleeves could be long), if he prefers more snuggly fit - L will be ok.
