No need for traction way out on your tip that hardly touches the snow and doesn't provide traction. You need it wall to wall under your foot. You'll be fine with 125 and save yourself some weight.

Wall to wall carpet is your friend, but if you can't afford it you'll probably still make it uphill.

The 125mm skins should work fine, but if you have the option I would go with the 140 mm skins so you have complete coverage towards the tip. I usually go larger with my skins and then trim down to match the ski profile as closely as possible (leaving a little edge exposed).
