You certainly could, as the sole can definitely take a bit of a walk, but the tops are so low, especially in the back, that you'd get snow/mud/dirt in them really easily. For getting the newspaper? Very much yes. Walking the dog? Maybe. Hiking a sick backcountry bowl for first tracks? No.
