Essentially, they are both the same except for the inner core of their filter elements, the rest is EXACTLY the same. The Gravidyn elements have an inner core of activated charcoal inside the elements to removed bad tastes, residual chemicals in the water and odors, as opposed to the Ceradyn elements which has a rock media inner core.
