Looking at Rocker 2 & Chetlers for some playful powder fiends that can get serious and charge...

My main question with pertaining to these three skis relates to sizing. Im 5'10 160lb and ski hard and fast, drop big(ish) cliffs when conditions permit but my dodgey knee cant handle hucking to hardpack anymore. Skied 185 Line Motherships all last winter and loved em but these burly bastards tended to man handle me in really steep tight terrain.

Has anyone my size skied the either of the rocker2 or chetlers in 192 and if so could you provide a little insight as to maneuverability and chargeability for people our size? I know that this is a similar Q to the one below but an extra couple inches in height and a few pounds in weight can make all the difference sometimes.

If you get the Bents go 192, they ski way short. I have the 183 Chetlers and they feel like 160's.

The Rocker 2 is so maneuverable that even the 192 can be considered playful. I'm about the same size as you and skied the 192 for the majority of last season. The rockered tip and tail will make this ski feel even shorter than your motherships. The other thing to remember is that this ski is quite light in weight, especially in the tip and tail, which makes it sooo much easier to throw around. I think you could go either way but because of your fast aggressive style I would suggest the 192. You will have the upper hand with these skis!

You will find yourself a little underpowered for the 192 Thats really a ski for bigger heavier folks like me (6'2" 250lbs) I think you would find it hard to get playful...it would be a bit sluggish in the tight stuff if you know what I mean. Try to size down to the 184 and you will love them
