The GoPro 1080 will take a single exposure automatically every 30 seconds, 60 seconds or every 5 minutes. Perfect for recording a long bike ride. Does the ContourHD have any such capability?

The gps does but that is 300+ where I am at.

I believe that the new GPS Contour has this capability but not the HD Contour.

To the best of my knowledge the contour does not have any still picture capabilities like the gopro does.
