In rain you will find that its completely waterproof. The only thing that you will notice though is that it doesn't breathe as well as a double walled tent. The vents will open up to let condensation out but you will still notice that there will be quite a bit of condensation in the mornings - especially with temps in the 40's. Hope this helps!

The only real issue you should get will be condensation from you on the inside if it is completely closed up, so it may seem that the tent is leaking, but it is actually you that is leaking

Evan. It is a completely waterproof tent. Imagine a waterproof/breathable rain jacket... we use the same fabric in the body of this tent. Cheers!

never slept in it, but played in it. i would not worry about the rain too much. i would worry about more than a couple of feet of snow up on one side, seemed like there was more flex in the poles than i would like.
