The hood looks fairly small. Does it fit comfortably over a helmet or is it real tight? I've got the OR motto jacket, and while i love it, the hood is very tight over my helmet. I'd like a little more room with the Axcess.

It is a sung fit on my Smith helmet, a little bit more room with the ability to cinch down would have been nice.

it really depends on helmets from what i've heard. personally It was a tight fit over my bern helmet when i zipped it up completely. I only did that when i was waiting for a lift to open at my home mountain. I never wear it when i'm skiing. I do use it when skinning when the wind is really blowing.
