I have a pair of Vasque Radiators size 13 US (47 EUR) and I haven't been able to find some gaiters that fit over the boots - I tried Black Diamond's gaiters, size XL and they were way to small on the ankle.. Should I try XL from OR or go for XXL?

For a 13, I would go with the XXL. You MIGHT be able to fit into an XL, but why risk it... even though you know Backcountry will take care of you on the return! 13 is the cutoff to go from an XL to a XXL. Because these sound like large volume boots, go bigger. AWESOME gaiters. Just used mine on Shasta this summer!

I wear size 12 boots and the XL fit great. XL should work fine for you. I can also highly recommend these gaiters, awesome.
