Gao Da, Thanks for your question. To follow up, this bottom is not fleece, and is really not meant to be warn as a mid layer. The Windstopper Hybrid Tight from The North Face would work great as the primary bottom layer in any cold weather aerobic activity, ie running, snowshoeing, or Nordic skiiing. Not fleece, and Windstopper tends to overheat most people when worn as a mid-layer.
