I'm getting a size 11 burton boot and a large binding I was wondering weather I'd have toe/heel drag with a regular board or not because I'm not sure if I should get the joystick wide.

If you're against buying a wide board, the non-wide Joystick's still wider than most non-wide boards - it's designed to support size 10 and 10.5 boots. While a wide is still recommended for a size 11 boot, you're better off with a non-wide Joystick than most other non-wide boards. Source: Burton 2011 Catalog

Annas- You probably want to look at the Wide. Once you are over a 10.5 a Wide is suggested. There is nothing worse than carving down the hill and catching a toe. Go with the WIde

Hey Anas, with a size 11, you are on the higher end of the spectrum for standard width boards, also meaning you would fall in the middle of the sizing chart for a wide board... You need to ask yourself a few questions first, what conditions will you be using this in? (powder, park, mix)? What is your weight/height? (if you are 6'1" and 210lbs vs 6'1" and 170lbs) What is your experience level? (beginner=wont notice the difference)... I personally have size 12 boots so when picking out a board, no matter what kind/mfg/terrain type/etc, I always start with the midwide/wide boards with a bare minimum of 26mm waist...
