I got the Voyageur and the Targhee II -- trying to decide between them... I have a week of hiking coming up in October in Utah (not backpacking, so won't be carrying much) and am nervous my feet will be too warm in the Targhee. But I live in the Northeast and tend to hike in cooler weather. Thoughts?? Thanks!

The best thing you could do is wear a good pair of socks made out of merino wool. These socks will keep your foot drier and that will keep your foot cooler in the warmer weather or warmer in cooler weather. KEEN makes some awesome socks that are left and rights so they fit great and are made out of Merino wool, they are called the Bellingham sock and they come in different heights and weights. I would recommend the Bellingham Crew Lite.

October in UT is usually cool so overheating isn't too big of a worry.
