How long are these tent stakes?
(*I don't know why most tent stakes are so short???...
I expected them (any tent stakes) to be at least 8-10"...I haven't found any to be that long except the NRS Blue Screws; sand stakes, etc.).
I just would feel "safer" with stakes that are a little bit longer than what I've been finding them!
*Maybe I should call the Companies that make them... ;)

The only ones I normally find in a mass production basis, that are very long are the cheap metal ones. I find that the better profile on the stake is more important than the length of the stake itself. A wider spoon style stake holds up better and longer than a straight stick style, ala snow stakes. I have been in some really nasty weather in my tents and have never really had an issue using a wider stake, plus it stays straight alot longer
