Everyone says this is the best jacket and that it's so warm...

Everyone says this is the best jacket and that it's so warm in their winters, but my question is... For those of you who own this jacket, where do you live?
To me, that makes a difference. If this thing kept you warm in your California winter, I won't take it as seriously as if someone were to say that it was great for an Alaska or Minnesota, etc. winter. I want to know what I'm up against!

Good question. For that matter - are you just going between car and building or are you actively moving a lot or are you waiting for the bus? I've lived in Minnesota, this likely wouldn't be enough for most people up there. I live in North Carolina, and I wore the DIez (very similar design) very comfortably all winter without wishing I had a warmer jacket.
