are the colors in the pictures true to the actual color? i have run into problems with that before.

I have the yellow one, and it's pretty true to the picture on the website. Perhaps a touch darker.

There are slight differences with the colors depending on what computer you're on, but in general, the colors seen here are not brighter than these picture--if anything they are a touch deeper in tone. So a deeper mustard color, a deeper blue color, and a deeper forest green color.

It really varies. I've found a couple packs that I've ordered looked slightly darker or lighter than pictured. Either way I was still happy with the product.
