Is this kayak a good choice for heavier people? I want to make sure a wide variety of people can fit in and use the kayak on a small lake in Minnesota.

The max weight is about 450 lbs, so that would include a couple larger folks at a time. If you look at some of guru photos above, you will see there is plenty of extra room in the cockpit
