The best way to measure is by having a sewing kit. the pliable measuring tapes they use easily wrap around your head. You need to wrap it around your head at about mid forehead level, continuing to right above the ears. Similar to where the helmet would sit, properly on your head, when you're wearing it. You could also just go to any ski shop near you, and they'll measure it for you if you pretend like you're planning on buying a helmet.

More specifically, If you have measuring tape (like the pliable ones used for sewing) that would be helpful. If not, run some string (or whatever works) around your head just above your eyebrows and ears, and measure the string. After that, the sizing chart is pretty spot on. As was mentioned, make sure you factor in a hat, if you plan on wearing one underneath. I don't personally. Also, The helmet can be adjusted a little bit fairly easily with a tightening strap thing on the inside. Hope that helps!

Measure your head circumference then click on the "size" link below the drop-down menu to see which size you should order. Be sure to leave room for a hat if you need too.
