I love my therma-a-rest trail pro sleeping pad I've had it for about two months, but this past weekend I unrolled it blew it up and notice that there was a hole on the back side of the pad, what are my options? (I did try a patch kit but it's not holding)

Thats the problem with air core pads. You could try another patch kit, or be a little creative with some ripstop nylon and try and find your own way to fix it, though it might not be worth the trouble for you.

Have you tried cleaning the area with an alcohol wipe before patching? I find that patches often stay better when the area is super clean (and fully dry).
