1) I would like to know where the top of this skirt rests on the body? (i.e. natural waist, 1" below waist, couple inches below natural waist, etc.) I am in my mid 50's and have tried on some skirts that sit so low on the hips that I would feel as though I'd loose the skirt while walking down the street. I am usually an XS in shorts, pants and skirts.
2) Does the fit of this skirt run small, true to size or large?

It sits below the waist on me. My waist is 28 in. I usually wear a size 8 with the mountain hardwear brand or medium and purchased a medium tonga skirt last year. I love it, so I purchased another. I suppose that if I purchased a small, it would sit at my waist. But I do not prefer bottoms to sit at my waist because my medical device sits there and often the left side of my waist hurts so I prefer loose fitting clothes. However this does not feel like I will lose my skirt.

Write your answer here...The skirt sits at the waist. I am also mid 50's. I wear a 6 and bought the small. It is very cute.
