Not to be a downer, but is there any reason this hoodie is 325 dollars? Until i have an excess of money, i would like to know why.

I was in Reykjavik in January of 2004 and bought my 66 North jacket there. At the time I did think that it was over priced spending about $400 for my coat. Almost six years later I can say that the coat was well worth it. The product is everything they said it was, fits great (5'5 185 lbs), and has little wear and tear. The only thing I had to do to it was sew one of the cuffs back on, and even that I think was my fault. Yes it's expensive, but I find their products well worth the money. I would hate to hear that their quality has gone down since then. I also wish I could find out what coat I have.

It looks like your average cotton hoodie, but really it's wool and windproof fleece. Plus 66 North is way overpriced.I think this is more of a stand alone jacket than anything else. It is super warm and I can wear it around town on a cold day no problem.
