I am looking for a Kayak for my wife. She is a beginner and it will be used in a lake with some boat wakes. She will also use it in a river with min rapids. She would like a sit on top Kayak. Any help you can provide me will be great.

Bobby, this would work fine for the lake but with boat wakes there is a chance she could take a wave and get a little wet. With an enclosed cockpit you can put a cover on to keep fairly dry. As for the river with rapids, this is a long and heavy boat and I wouldn't want to do any type of rapids with it on a regular basis. I would talk to a kayak specific dealer if you have one close and get their input. Hope this helps.
