so i am 5'5 and 120 pounds and im about to go to cornell...

so i am 5'5 and 120 pounds and im about to go to cornell university in ithaca,ny which has its heavy share of unpredictable weather. would a small be fine if i still layered a fleece underneath?

I am also 5'5" and 120 pounds and I find that I always need a medium in any North Face brand jacket. Part of it might be because I have longer arms, but I think if you want to layer, you'll definitely need a medium.

Yep a small should fit and still leave you with room to layer a fleece underneath it. Hope that helps.
