How accurate is the 6'4" user height on the regular? I am 6'1", would I be better off with the regular or the long?

Go with the long- it's going to be more comfortable, and if it is cold, you'll appreciate the extra length for stuffing clothing in the foot box to keep them and your feet warm. I'm 6'-0" and I'm always happier with a longer bag.

If you're going to be pushing the temperature rating, definitely go with the regular so that you'll fill it and heat it more efficiently. It also makes a difference if you're a side sleeper, as if you are you'll tuck your legs enough to make an inch or two difference. I'm 6'2 and a side sleeper and I mostly use bags that have a max user height of 6' so that I heat them efficiently.

I'm 6'3" and I've always had to go with the long to be comfortable. I think it lists 6'4" as the absolute will barely fit, not the comfortable fit. Of course if you're trying to watch weight and don't mind a little tightness it might be ok to live with.
