Is this piece similar in fabric and usage to the Backcountry.com Rime pullover? Love my Rime and have been waiting for a replacement piece from Stoic. Any observations and comparisons between the Rime and the Microlith pullover would be greatly appreciated (sleeve length, fit/cut, etc). Thanks.

Slightly different fabrics on the inside and outside and the Microlith does have the longer arms. I've fixed the arm length issue on previous Stoic jackets by folding the ends of the sleeves in and Aqua Sealing them to my desired length. It is missing the soft micro fleece that the Rime had, but is still worth getting if you loved your Rime. The Microlith also has a bungee system around the waist which I don't think is necessary (I never use them on any jacket), The Rime doesn't have that.

Hey Sam, does it have the same obnoxiously long arms as most Stoic stuff? I find their arm length is generally about two inches longer than most other manufacturers.

I got it and it fits me well. I don't know about the rime because I don't have it, but it looks remarkably similar (because it's all backcountry). Sleeve length is nice and long, and it doesn't swallow me in the chest. I have a 40 inch chest and the fit of this is pretty on point.
