I would definitely recommend the medium. I'm 6'3", 180, and the medium was plenty long and roomy enough. This shirt is cut more generously than most of the icebreaker stuff I have, but it's still a fairly slim fit. I also find the lighter merino wool stuff, like this shirt, only shrink a touch in the wash.

You'll definitely want to go with the large. I'm 5'11", and the medium was right on the border of being too short. Plus the merino wool is suppose to shrink a little after the first wash. I ended up exchanging for a large which has the right length for someone being 6' to 6'2 . I'm 155lbs so it doesn't fit me as slim, but would be a perfect match for your dimensions.
