does it fit true to size? i'd wear a medium, and usually wear layers underneath... is there enough room for a few thin layers?

I think it's about true to size to maybe a touch on the big side. I'm 5'6" and 130lbs and I have a size small. It's just a little snug when I have two thin layers (a t-shirt or tank top and thin fleece) on under it. I probably would have more room in a medium without it being huge, but this was, for me, strictly a summer garment so I stuck with the small. Hope that helps.
