Is there anyway to pitch this inside in order to practice it...

Is there anyway to pitch this inside in order to practice it before it goes outside? Are the stakes required to pitch it properly? I wasn't sure if the picture was shopped or not - to show it set up, but not outside, if you know what I mean. Oh, and any suggestions to what to do upon rain? Thanks!

It does require stakes to set it up as it is not freestanding. However, since it is very lightweight, you could set it up in your place on the carpet using the corners of furniture, chairs with books stacked on it, etc. I'm sure if you are creative enough you'll find a way to set it up inside to check it out!
