what is this like compared to the Sea to summit's eVent dry...

what is this like compared to the Sea to summit's eVent dry compression sack. It looks like both bags would be pretty similar, I am just curious about the way this bag has the compression straps attached to the bag top rather than have the compression straps wrap around the bag as a whole (like sea to summit's compression sacks do)

Hey there - I like the OR AirPurge. It is burlier, and the compression works great. The orange band around the bottom is actually a Gore membrane, so the air purge works really well and it is completely dry. Also, OR's warranty can't be beat: "Infinite Guaranty." No matter what, OR will take care of you!

Not quite as nice as the Sea to Summit in my opinion, although a little burlier. The strap wrapping of the OR does not pose a problem for compression at all, both this and the STS work well for the intended purpose, but I'd get the STS because of the lighter weight.
