I am 5'10" and 200 pounds. I wear a 36 in waist and my inseam is a 32. I want to get some of these, but want to be able to layer them over at least a pair of long bottoms, and sometimes possibly over a very light weight pair of hiking pants. Would a large work for this, or should I size up to an XL?

Stick, I match you except I'm 195. Large is a perfect fit for me with Cap 3 bottoms. I think there is enough room to wear over a light pair of pants also.

Stick I would say go with a Large.... Looking at your height and waist and inseam size I would say it would be fine.... The XL will likely be way to long for your height. Hope this helps.
