Will these work with my bluetooth sprint phone? or do I have to buy an adapter?

Key for compatibility is your phone's implementation of Bluetooth. Specifically does the phone have Bluetooth A2DP (for wireless audio streaming) and Bluetooth AVRCP (for wireless control of music). Those are the two technologies needed for the O ROKR to work.
