is this years triple-c the same material as the metropolis? - the last couple of years have been a duller material - this looks much shinier - i much prefer the metropolis finish - but prefer the longer length

I'm with you about the finish of the Metropolis and the length of the Triple C. I wish the Triple C would have the same finish as the Metropolis. Although the Metropolis is a 600, it feels heavier than the Triple C, which has a 700 fill power. If North Face can make the Metropolis longer like the Triple C, it would be perfect or vise vera. In addition, the shell for the Triple C is thinner, the down is likely to shed, which is another disadvantage.
