One difference that I noticed between the two is that the Bx has the screen go the full height of the tent where as the regular 23 has sections of screening and opaque panels for privacy. I own the regular 23 so feel free to ask me any other questions you may have.

The BX version comes in a box that makes it easier for retailers to stock. Both of them would be the same tent, with all of the same specs and stuff sacks and so on.
