Hello!
I just bought this jacket to wear over my The North Face Thunder Down Jacket for the snow, but wanted to know how it fits alone. I am 4'11" and 100 pounds. I purchased the XS size hoping it wouldn't be too big, however, not sure if I would drown in this jacket alone. Due to my petite frame, I generally gravitate towards more form fitting attire. How form fitting is this jack on someone of my stature?

Probably too late to be helpful, but the Thunder would do just fine if the only snow you're experiencing is what's falling from the sky. Snow has such a low moisture content that you really only need a water resistant jacket unless you're going to be rolling in it.

TNF stuff tends to be pretty form-fitting, but you've put yourself in an awkward situation. If you want to wear it on its own and you like form-fitting stuff, then by all means size according to the chart. But if you get it slim-fit and then wear a down jacket underneath, it'll compress the down and your insulative power goes out the window. On the other hand, if you get it big enough to go over a down jacket and then wear it without, it won't be form-fitting any more. The choice is yours, but you can't have it both ways.
