Im think about this one and Metalious Freenut Key. Two questions: 1. The nose of this nut key seems to be quite sharp. Is it like very sharp so it could make a hole in the backpack material (or whatever clothing) when carried in it? Does it tend to get caught on things?
2. Is the wire-gate biner durable? Any complaints on fast breaking of it?

Like every nut tool I've ever used of course the pointy end gets caught on things. However I've never had any durability issues and it seems no more likely to punch holds in my pack than my cam lobes. I solved that problem by putting my gear in a lightweight rope bag anyway. The small biner on the cord end is actually advantageous as it's profile is small enough to mostly stay out of the way and under gear. The small size also means you are not likely to unclip it when meaning to unclip a piece of gear. The coil is way better than accessory cord as it retracts and gets out of the way. I was always fiddling with the cord. I've had mine for a couple years now and the cord shows no sign of sagging.
