Is it would be ok for trad? With more quickdraws on it? (I wear all the gear on gear loops around my torso)

I've used this harness for long days 15+ pitches with a very full rack including BIG gear i.e. Steck-Salathe, and it performs excellently as a traditional harness. It might not be the most comfortable to hang in for a long, long time but I've never had any serious issues with it. Bottom line, great harness for whatever you want to use it for

I have loads of friends who use this harness multipitch climbing/trad climbing and it works just fine for them. In the long run you are carrying less weight and bulk up long routes, so you should be better off right? Alpinists like it because you are carrying less weight and bulk, and you don't often hang in it much alpine climbing.

It's designed for sport routes because it's very small and light and not very comfortable, so if you're doing multipitch or hanging for long periods of time then this will cut off circulation pretty quickly. There's nothing wrong with it though.

There is no reason it wouldn't work - might not be the most comfortable to hang in for long periods of time though.
